Deptford welcomes reggae back to South East London ears' when collective ORIJAHNAL OUTERNATIONAL brings musicians, singers and DJs with a common goal of creating a back-to-basics, feelgood reggae experience to the Albany on Friday 14 October.

ORIJAHNAL OUTERNATIONAL draws on a pool of top musicians such from the UK scene. Every gig has an improvised element making it unique, free-flowing and organic. The support of Midi Music Company will see the band joined by guest vocalists and MCs from the local scene including JB SPARKS (also front man for local band Django Thief) and MC Danny Ryder aka DBR.

JB SPARKS is a Rap Artist from South London whose hip hop influences music is a rich and rugged blend of many styles and tastes. The intention is for Sparks to fly amongst Hip Hop, Rock, Dance and Jazz audiences. This collaboration will see him work with reggae for the first time.

DBR has been working as an MC for the past eight years and was spotted by South London radio station Taste FM in 1998 where he has been part of the team ever since. By 2000 Danny's own group Da Southside Crew had four weekly radio slots, three weekly nightclub residencies and were also performing at top London venues such as Sound, Cynthias and The Works. Their ever-growing popularity has seen them play with the likes of the So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew, EZ, Masterstepz and many more.

Refresh yourself with the reality sounds of reggae the way it should be played, with a dash of Deptford in the mix!
