MT. NEBO RECORDS LAUNCHES NEW AGE IN REGGAE MUSIC

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Mt. Nebo Records (www.mtneborecords.com), a newly
formed and innovative independent reggae label based outside of Washington,
D.C., today announced the official release of Talkin, Roots I, an ear-pounding,
conscious rocking compilation of reggae music. This maiden 13-track
gathering marks the revival of a powerful, new sound and the introduction
of what appears to be the next major player in reggae roots and culture.

Recorded and cut at the Bambú Station Studio in the unlikely rural countryside
of southern Maryland, just south of the nation,s Capitol, Talkin, Roots
I captures a stimulating array of the most dynamic reggae artists from
the Caribbean shorelines of the Virgin Islands, including:

-Award-winning songstress Dezarie;
-Popular V.I. reggae band and production consortium Bambú Station;

-The energetic and edgy Natty Empress;
-The soulful Iba; and
-The multi-talented Star Lion Family

Now in the fourth month of its scheduled pre-launch exhibition debut,
Mt. Nebo has managed to sell over 2,000 copies of Talkin, Roots I.

"We are very pleased with the overwhelming success and acceptance of
Talkin' Roots I by the streets, club DJ's and radio" says Jalani Horton,
lead singer and producer for the Bambú Station. "Its' success is definitely
significant in a time where computer programs are the tools used to create
most of the music heard today. Bambú Station's sound is live instrumentation
and Mt. Nebo Records supports that. Praises to all the staff at Mt. Nebo
Records who made this possible, affording us the opportunity to work
with such a diverse and talented group of artists from our homeland.
Mt. Nebo's atmosphere and focus definitely sets it apart as a label
and represents a revival of support for a much beloved style of music
and recording. Reggae music fans now have a home where they can discover
fresh, innovative and wholesome reggae music true to its core.

Talkin, Roots I is now in its second phase of release, with limited distribution
planned in select stores throughout D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New
York City, Atlanta and the V.I. Mt. Nebo tracks are already being rotated
on radio stations in these markets. Listeners can securely purchase
the Talkin, Roots I album or listen to samples by accessing www.mtneborecords.com.
